In May 2021 the Bartram Trail High school photoshoopped over 80 female students without their knowledge or consent for images they deemed to not meet school dress code guidelines. To see the video regarding this situation please visit:

All Photoshop edits were done to female students. No male students, including boys who were part of the swim team who wore speedos for their pictures were edited. The images were not edited by the photographer who took the images. They were altered by a teacher on staff who serves as the Yearbook Coordinator.

To make matters worse the images were photoshopped in a very demeaning and humiliating manner towards the female students. Take a look at the before and after editing jobs done by the school without the consent or knowledge of the parents or students.

And to all the photographers reading this. What do you think about the images being changed by the school? We have yet to hear if there was consent given by the photographer. Why didn’t the photographer make the edits him or herself?

I thank you for being here and hope you found this article and information helpful. It’s a shame to do this to teenage children. The double standard and emotional turmoil inflicted by the school and district is reprehensible.
