Showing the Love...:)

Production image from my meet up shoot in Las Vegas last night.  In this particular shot my assistant Juicy is getting up close and personal with the model.  We know how to treat our people right!

Washington DC Workshop Group Shot

Group shot of us at Mount Vernon in Washington DC.  We had an amazing time, and now it's on to shooting the inauguration festivities over the next 2 days.  In talking to the Park Rangers I learned a few interesting things:

- They are expecting only about 20% of the crowd that came to Obama's first inauguration

-Inauguration ticket requests are coming in at a snails pace compared to last time.  10,000/day versus 10,000/hour 4 years ago.

I'm in our nation's capital to shoot the inauguration regardless of who wins simply because it is living history.  I plan on shooting the next 40 years worth of inaugurations if the body is willing.  This is my second one because in 2008 I had just been a pro photographer for 1 year, so in 2004 I wouldn't have known what I was doing.  Can't wait to share stuff with you all!

Creating Great Ring Shots

This is a production shot taken of me at my wedding for Sako and Alvina in Los Angeles, CA.  For these ring shots I tied a fish wire to the rings and then held them up against the curtains while I used natural light and a macro lens to get the shot.  Always look for ways to create something different!

Shooting at Fort Desoto on a Jason Lanier Workshop

This image was provided to me by Scotty Noone from my workshop in Tampa Florida earlier this week.  We did a swimsuit shoot but since it was colder she ended up with a sweater and scarf.  This sunset that we were able to shoot was honestly amazing...can't wait to be able to edit them sometime in the near future!

Rolling in the mud...at a Jason Lanier Workshop

This is an image taken yesterday at my workshop in West Virginia.  We did a trash the dress shoot and got absolutely filthy...this shot was taken before I fell into the mud and to the right of me you can see Faye and Debbie really starting to get into it.  We shot in front of an old coal mine that was just amazing.  Can't wait to share pics!
