Finding Your Place in the Frame

My Mini Masterclasses kick off TOMORROW in Pensacola, FL and I absolutely can’t wait to see all of you out there creating, learning, and pushing your photography to the next level!

This image of the awesome Courtney is a perfect example of how IMPORTANT spacing and subject placement are in environmental portraiture. Notice how I positioned her between the mountain range while keeping her above the horizon line. That placement is critical because it helps maintain proper size, perspective, and separation between your subject and the environment. Small compositional decisions like this can completely transform the impact of an image.

Photography isn’t just about pressing the shutter. It’s about learning how to SEE. How to frame. How to pose. How to light. How to create depth and storytelling within a scene.

That’s exactly what we’ll be working on during these Mini Masterclasses:
• Portfolio Reviews
• Posing & Communication
• Natural Light & Artificial Light
• Composition & Storytelling
• Building CONFIDENCE behind the camera

Most importantly, I want to help you create the kind of work you’ve always envisioned in your mind but maybe haven’t quite known how to execute yet.

Next stops after Pensacola:
• Charlotte, NC
• Knoxville, TN
• San Francisco, CA

Let’s make some incredible images together.
