Everglades Magic: Crafting a Story Through Light, Wardrobe & Vision

There’s something special that happens when every element of a shoot comes together with intention, and this Everglades session was exactly that.

This 1-on-1 training experience wasn’t just about taking photos… it was about building them from the ground up. From carefully selecting wardrobe ahead of time (yes… I’m still obsessed with that hat ), to scouting the perfect location for hours in the rain, every decision played a role in the final image.

Maddie brought the vision to life beautifully, effortless, natural, and completely in the moment. We focused on creating a soft, romantic storyline and used constant light (Godox Litemons 300R) instead of flash to maintain that organic, dreamy feel. The goal was to blend wardrobe, environment, posing, mood, and lighting into one cohesive story, and I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

Huge thanks to Ryan for trusting me with this 1-on-1 session, John for assisting, Maddie for absolutely crushing it, and Krystal for helping bring everything together behind the scenes.
