Glacier Calving

This is an image of the Northwestern Glacier in Alaska calving while I was there in July of 2012.  Wanna know how big this actually is?  Take a look at the bottom center of the picture where the ice meets the water.  You will see a bird flying in the middle of it all.  When you scale the bird to the glacier, it gives you much greater appreciation for just how magnificent these glaciers are....the boat was a ways away and once the wave got to us it was quite large!

Day at the Beach!

This image was taken at my workshop in South Carolina in November of last year.  This was the first time I did a child shoot at one of my workshops and it was a blast!  For this shot I had to work with Sullivan to get him to smile and fall back...and by the time I got him to do it he did it beautifully!
