This image was taken at my wedding for April and Delano Howell in February at the Odyssey in Los Angeles, CA. The trick to this shot was getting right underneath the bride and groom and shooting up video light to illuminate them. The other hard part was keep myself and my camera out of the shot but we managed to pull it off. Hope you like it!

This image was taken at the wedding for April and Delano Howell at the Odyssey in Los Angeles, California. This was just as the ceremony was ending and they were walking back towards me down the center aisle. I always love to try and capture this moment because it's so powerful. I love this couple and am so grateful I had the chance to capture their special day!

This image was taken at my wedding for Delano and April Howell at the Odyssey in Los Angeles just last night during the ceremony. We had an amazing time and I'm so grateful we were able to be there for such a wonderful family and wedding. Halfway through the ceremony the little Flowergirl wanted to be like the bride and started making kissy faces which was priceless. Most people didn't see it because she was hidden behind some of the bridesmaids and the bride, but I snuck around from behind and shot this in between everyone. Hope you like it!

This image was taken of my beautiful bride April Howell yesterday about 1 hour before she married her husband Delano. This was taken while she was finishing up her make up. I used the light from the hotel bathroom to light her face and just asked her to turn and look to her left a little. I shot this with my 85mm, and then in Photoshop I blackened the sides of the image a little to blend out some of the background from behind her. It's like doing a portrait session in the middle of a lot of wedding day action! You are beautiful April!
