Bringing the Goods

This is an action shot of me during my sparring match where I'm delivering a blow that was one of my points in the match.  It was an awesome experience to put the training I've received over the past 4 months to use, and I can't wait to do it again.  My wife and boys had an awesome time as well and we just love Karate and the Dojo where we study!

Karate Tournament December 2012

This is a shot of me and my family at the USSD December Karate Tournament where I placed 2nd in Men's Sparring for Yellow Belts.  I ended up losing to a guy who's done MMA for years and switched over to Karate.  So considering this was my first tournament ever, I was pretty jazzed.  My boys and wife also sparred and while they didn't place, I couldn't be happier with their performances as this was their first tournament as well!  Thanks to our Sensei Jose, Andew, Hunter, and Laura for all you guys do!  I also want to thank my trainer Steven who has helped me to shed some pounds and be better prepared for this...
