This image was taken at my workshop in Nevada earlier this month after WPPI. It was one of the funnest shoots I've ever done and we are creating a video on it as we speak. We got the sand effect the natural way...by having a car drive by and kick up dust! Thanks to all who came and for the amazing Gwen Garci and Tylor Perry for being such excellent models....

This composite was created in Photoshop from my shoot in Nevada at my workshop there earlier this month. This is the result of combining 4 shots into one, with each one of the shots of the car being a separate shot that I took as the car was driving by. These were shot with my D800 and you can see that it still gives you plenty of speed as it relates to your frames per second if you need it. While it's not my D3, there are very few times you need a camera that fast.
I put these together in Photoshop by using layer and masks, no special software other than that. I also used a lower opacity on the images of the car further away to give it the look like it's a little bit of a ghost effect. Hope you like it!

Just outrageous how fun this shoot was!!!!

This image was taken at my workshop in Nevada earlier this month. We incorporated a Camaro into the shoot and I just loved the dust cloud it kicked up! We played around with all different types of settings and scenarios. I just loved doing this shoot!
