Daddy walking the bride down the aisle at a Christmas House Wedding

www.weddingphotographersinsoutherncalifornia.com

This image was taken at my wedding for Chad and Kristin at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens last week.  I love getting shots that show details....and I love it when you can sense emotion in a shot without having to see the person's face.  It's always so sweet when a Father walks his Daughter down the aisle, and that's what I was trying to capture here...

Wedding Detail Shots at a Christmas House Wedding

www.weddingphotographersinsoutherncalifornia.com

It's always important to capture the small details that made your wedding clients day so special to them. This is a simple shot but one that carries meaning for the client, which is one of the reasons I shared it with you all...

Cake Cutting at a Christmas House Wedding

www.christmashouseweddings.com

One of the key things for any wedding photographer to get is the shot of the cake cutting.  The trick is getting the rings, the knife, the engraved names etc. ALL in the shot.  This image was taken at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens which is a beautiful historic wedding venue.  I just loved the colors of the wedding and it came through in this image....

The Look of Love at a Christmas House Wedding

www.christmashouseweddings.com

This image was taken at my wedding for the Christmas House Inn and Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  This was captured during the couple's first dance.  I just love it when we can catch a tear coming down from either the bride or the groom.  And I really love it when the wedding couple actually lets their emotions come out during the wedding...like you see here.

Shooting a photojournalistic wedding at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens

www.weddingphotographersinsoutherncalifornia.com

Every bride is different, and it's very important to understand their individual needs.  As an artist it's easy to get caught up into yourself, and to think that you should take no direction.  Well, I learned a long time ago that there is a balance between artistic vision and client needs and desires.  Yes, my clients hire me because want my style of work which is GREAT!  But it's also very important to listen to your clients and what STYLE of your work they are looking for...

My wedding couple here wanted a completely unposed wedding photography product.  Some photographers might be concerned at such a notion...but when you think about 80% of your wedding is photojournalism anyways right?  You can't pose the first dance, the daddy daughter, toasts, reception, etc.

This moment was captured following an emotional ceremony and as they left the ceremony site they just couldn't help but embrace for a passionate moment with each other.  Thank you for letting me shoot your wedding Kristin and Chad!

Wedding Ceremony from the Bridesmaid Perspective at the Christmas House

www.christmashouseweddings.com

This image was taken at my wedding Saturday at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.  I knelt down next to the bridesmaids and framed the bride and groom with the bouquets. This image was only processed with Lightroom as the bride wanted very natural looking shots.  Hope you like it!

Bride with tattoos at the Christmas House Inn Wedding

www.jasonlanierweddingphotography.com

www.christmashouseweddings.com

Some brides cover up their tattoos, others purposely buy dresses that show them off...:)  I just love how Kristin who was married just last week decided to showcase her ink.  I really love how in this shot you see the rose on her shoulder next to the huge bouquet of beautiful flowers.  And you can also see how she chose a low cut dress in the back to show off her tattoo there as well.  What a beautiful bride, awesome wedding, and amazing couple...

Daddy Daughter Dance at the Christmas House Inn

www.christmashouseweddings.com

www.jasonlanierweddingphotography.com

This image was taken at my wedding for Cameron and Whitney at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga.  I just LOVE the dance floor at the Christmas House because the lighting is great for photography.  The key to any Daddy Daughter dance is capturing the joy and emotions coming from the bride and her Father.  I just love the smile on Whitney's face with this image....

This image was taken at my wedding for Mike and Kristina at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens.  The dance floor at the Christmas House is great for photography because of the lighting as you see above. Mixed with the right amount of flash or video light, you can capture great images which is so important to the wedding couple.  Hope you like it!
