In this image captured during my Detroit photography workshop, we placed the stunning Christina against the backdrop of a weathered, decaying train car. The contrast of her elegance and vitality with the structure’s abandonment brings a poetic tension to the frame.

Finding beauty in both the broken and the blooming reminds us that art doesn’t have to follow a perfect path. Like a river winding through rugged terrain, sometimes the most powerful visuals come from unexpected pairings. Don’t be afraid to explore that friction, it might just lead to your best work yet.
