Yes, you read that right!

The Director of Weddings at the Sheraton Harbor Island (where I took the firework pics) and I have known each other for years. He hired me to do something really cool yesterday.

Since 7-7-07 was the biggest wedding day ever, the hotel had TONS of weddings scheduled back to back. Recently, the hotel built a beautiful outdoor venue right near the water for ceremonies. The hotel is changing all their collateral to include pictures of this new venue. (website, brochures, advertisements, pamphlets, sales kits, etc.)

So, Tony (DOW) hired me for Saturday. He asked me to shoot three weddings for the hotel's collateral. Each couple had their own hired photographer and I was there strictly to get pictures for the hotel. The couples and their photographers were aware of my purpose and we all worked together nicely!

The wedding department had very specific shots that they wanted from each wedding. I focused on more artsy shots and shots that highlighted the venue as well as the bride and groom. It was a great opportunity for me to shoot weddings for a different client with a different perspective.

WOW! I had tons of fun. I have never shot three weddings in one day. I am still tired!

Sorry, you will have to wait until Monday to see some pics. I have been on the phone all evening with brides. I finished my last phone call at 11:00pm tonight. I am always up late chatting! I also booked three weddings tonight with the coolest couples.

I have not even had a chance to upload all the pictures from yesterdays weddings. I will post them tomorrow. It is almost midnight and I need to go to sleep!
